Next generation nuclear is a very interesting development and it is much safer than existing plants in the US. Well worth getting behind the development of this new take.
Contrary to the popular doomsday narrative, we continue to decrease emissions while we grow our economy. Natural gas has been the most effective tool to do so.

Solar will never be anything more than a “partial” effect... it takes more panels than you can put in your roof to run your whole house in a whole year if you live in a state that has cold weather for more than 3 months...

Adding solar offsets the use of fossil fuels. Not until there is a low cost storage option, will solar and wind realize their full potential.

Wind, as is being found is in no way cost effective.. The price to build one and maintain one will never be paid for and after 10 years the blades need replaced and are NOT recyclable, so they must be buried somewhere..

Somebody needs to inform the California legislature. They are trying to pass new law that will prohibit the use of natural gas in residential builds in favor of electricity. The expense would be a horrible burden on homeowners.

They already have. No gas water heaters after Jan 1.
