The accord doesn’t rip oil and gas out of anyone’s hands. It says “let’s all maintain our standard of living and also not burn up the planet.” Someone from Houston might have more concern about climate change.
Actually the accord holds us back through onerous regulations that hurt American innovation. In reality, we succeed and the world succeeds when we produce cheap, clean, exportable energy. Yeah, that'd be great, Dan, except you know this administration doesn't care about clean, exportable energy. They've actually relaxed rules on carbon capture, pushed coal use, and relaxed auto emissions standards.

“Cheap, clean, exportable energy” isn’t achieved with fracking. Have you ever smelled the air or felt the earthquakes in West Texas? If you carry any more water for the GOP, you’ll need to be regulated as a public utility.
