That’s not what was said. I pay over $5000 year in deductible. I’m fine paying $3500 more in taxes to not have a deductible. Canada
is a great goal for a system.

I make under 30K, I consider myself middle class and I pay more to fund other people’s benefits while making payments on my own medical bills and still got penalized and I AM SICK OF IT!

This is the reason why we need a plan that covers all of us and that lowers prescription drug prices. The current healthcare system is taking billions of dollars from us and we're still not getting the healthcare we need.

A lot of people arent clear how much comes out of their paycheck in premiums, how copays and their deductibles add up or how much might not be covered some day by their insurance.

I worked in health care billing for a decade. Medicare was by far the best. I'd sign up immediately if I could.

Medicare was by far the best at what??? I work in health insurance now. The Medicare system can only survive by riding on the back of the private healthcare system. Ask any doctor if he'd be willing to accept *only* Medicare patients...
