Actually, Dan, it’s because you morons just gave $1.5 trillion dollars worth of tax cuts to billionaires. And social security/Medicare aren’t “entitlements,” they’re vital government programs that WE PAY INTO our whole lives.

However, revenues to the Fed is UP. Not down. It is not adding to the debt. Spending is. Now while Revenues are UP would be a really good opportunity to attack the debt. The tax cuts resulted in more revenue and higher wages. At least for the 5 million+ in my industry.
