You mean like the subsidies and tax breaks we continue to give the fossil fuel companies? Also, maybe you forgot to mention the cleanup and health issues associated with continuing to destroy the planet. I guess you don’t have kids or care about their future?

100% renewables is impossible! Germany is the closest nation and 45% of their power still comes from fossil plants. Dance on the other hand has 5% from fossil because 75% of their grid is Nuclear Powered.

Nuclear and natural gas with some solar and geothermal is the most reasonable path forward but this 100% renewables concept is pure fantasy.

I'm all for higher % renewable energy, as long as it comes on ZERO government subsidy, innovation, and pure free market capitalism.

With the amount of people touting that renewables are the cheapest source of electricity you'd imagine that would be easy to do too
