Negotiations are good. Peace talks are good. They should continue. But I currently see no circumstances where a total US withdrawal or a political timeline can be justified. Let’s keep that in mind as we consider the next steps.

The problem is, we’re not being effective with what we’re doing in the Middle East. They (politicians) don’t let our soldiers do their jobs and it costs us lives and money. Bring our troops home or let them actually work and keep politicians out of it.
And I know I don’t have to tell you that the politicians are in the way but it’s so frustrating seeing us lose good people over there for nothing because our politicians are sitting in their comfy chairs, placing hindering laws that get us killed.

Huge fan of you but I disagree here. We have been involved in war in the middle east for my freshman in college’s entire life, if we can’t fix it in 18 years what’s another 2or 3 going to do? Can’t we at least try peace for awhile?
We are in a quagmire. Countries have to learn to defend themselves. We seem to take on the front line responsibilities rather than provide support. We r tired of this. There is never any endgame. We must do better @DanCrenshawTX
Dan, I was in Iraq when Obama failed to get the SOFA signed off by the Iraqi’s. The jundee (soldiers) begged us to stay, they knew ISIS was on the rise in 2009. Democrat, Failed policy killed thousands!!
