If you are truly against open borders, start campaigning for a wall on the border with Canada. If that doesn't seem like a priority, then either you're *not* against open borders, or this is all about race. At least be open about that.

It's pretty clear their intentions. My grandmother came from Canada and I like to think that she raced across the border on the back of a moose. Seeking asylum is legal and since when did they start caring about loopholes?

Just look what Europe ended up with their "open" border policy. Even Germany now reversing it and trying to send immigrants back but sending is extremely difficult then accepting.
