I’ve worked for a locally owned small business for over 20 years. A $15 minimum wage would put us and our 40 employees out of business. It would hurt small businesses the most. It would make our product too expensive which would be a big win for amazon and big corporations.
$15 minimum wage is all the rage now. It’s a feel good policy, but does it actually do good?

I own a small business and sell to around 850 other small businesses. None of my customers pay the minimum, the wages range from 13-22. So that argument is really just a myth to protect the corporations.

It will crash the ECONOMY. There should be more advertisements of HS dual enrollment tech programs. Transportation should be provided so all students can participate. This will increase the earnings of HS graduates to no less than $ 25 K per year starting pay.

Another point is that a higher wage discourages education. Making $5.75/hour in 1988 motivated me to go back to college.
