We don't have open borders, not even close. Don't mislead your own supporters. I personally don't believe that many Democrats support immigrants as they say they do but I also don't agree with Republicans stance on the Mexican border either.

We need to change our outdated central and South American policy which both political parties have contributed to over the years. We to lift up the poor as well as the Indigenous though political and economic support instead of supporting the corrupted middle-class.

I am an American and I believe that our borders should be more open than current law allows. The Republican Party has consistently blocked immigration reform which could have averted this crisis.

Maybe that is because the Democrat party always adds tons of pork to ANY bill that makes it to the floor and the Republicans have to say no.
