Our good intentions have led to flawed immigration policies that encourage migrants to take a dangerous journey, and allow human trafficking to thrive. Conditions at the border are unacceptable. People are dying. We have to change this. Our system is bad for everyone involved.

Please Rep. Crenshaw. The difference is one wanted to change immigration laws legally and humanely. The other thinks the only solution is a wall.
#TrumpCamps -
The wall was always just one piece of the puzzle, and the wall is humane, preventive measures like the wall are not only for our safety but migrants safety too. I agree with
@RepDanCrenshaw the laws must change. But we really need all 4 components. Laws, security, tech, and wall.

High levels of outmigration in blue states & urban districts and no way to exclude those who can’t vote from apportionment. NY lost 1/2 a district to outmigration in 2018 alone. California lost more. It’s about POWER. Not compassion.

I come from an extremely large NYC, Brooklyn & LI based family. In the past 2 years, over 60 family members have left NY. Taxes, home affordability, LI gangs are the reasons. I have another dozen family members leaving this summer, all under 35.
