Sadly Democrats did not allow this amendment to come to a vote. You have to wonder: are they more interested in finding realistic solutions to lowering emissions or promoting the Green New Deal agenda?

Here is some advice you didnt ask for.
If you want to pass legislation... You need to build coalitions of people who Also want to vote for your agenda.
You should be tring to find Ds to Work with; not awe shucks'ing and blaming Ds

Innovating cheap, clean energy and sharing it with the world is great and we should continue to do it! Also, it's not enough and our role in addressing climate change can't be limited to that. Government overregulates in many areas, but this is one where regulation is needed.

A false solution to climate change. It may burn less CO2 than coal, but factor in all the emissions from extracting natural gas, it is just as bad. Wind and solar energy are now very affordable.
