Medicare will go insolvent in 2026, Social Security in 2035. Refusing to address this will cause automatic cuts to these programs. We must get ahead of this, and put these programs on a sustainable path. Been paying into the system my entire working life. That’s about the time I’ll qualify and I better get what the government promised me when I had NO choice but to trust them with my money. Congress & voters better wake up.

I’m looking at retirement around that time. Good thing I’ve always planned on getting screwed out of that and never even figured it into what I’d have to live on.

Easy to fix SS, stop paying interest on the national dept to the federal reserve. They issue money to the govt out of nothing and charge us interest on it. SCAM since 1913.
