For that of us that are W2 employees, that have work expenses over $6k not covered by our employer... We definitely did not get a tax cut. Party affiliations aren’t relevant in math

Rep. Crenshaw tries to spread his ignorance. A "tax cut" financed by borrowing is a very expensive tax INCREASE. You get a dollar today, pay compounding interest forever. Thanks, GOP. Your unceasing destruction of American strength continues.

I do hate the fact that the tax cut is cause to create an increase in our deficit. Unfortunately many Ds are running on plans of “free college” etc by repealing the tax cuts to “pay for it”. Thus repeating the never ending deficit...

Unfortunately not true in my case. Had less income then previous year but paid more in fed taxes.

Me too!

Not me. Had to pay MORE this year (and no, it wasn't because I had less in withholdings. I'm self employed) Dan uses the word "facts", then misleads At least now we are clear -- the tea party era was always a joke. They claimed they hated deficits, now, they love them!

Perhaps you had more taxable income? Just a thought. I've talked with 2 people this week who had small increase in tax, but realized later they also had substantial increase in their incomes. One was nearly $14k more income.

I checked all the numbers. I got zero tax cuts. And I'm definitely not wealthy
