Dan, Dan, Dan. First off, they are EARNED BENEFITS. They are NOT “entitlements”!
Secondly, you’ll be taking more of Americans’ money when you cut their earned benefits. Have you thought about that??
Third, what in God’s name happened to the party of fiscal responsibility?!

America’s money was just moved from the low/ middle to the top.
This is such a pathetic Do Democrat talking point. 1. Only someone completely indoctrinated would think the poor pay taxes to begin with. 2. The middle class nation wide received tax cuts as well. 3. Try thinking it through before a 60 yr old lie that's never been true
Over the next 10 years, the difference between 2% annual growth and 3% annual growth adds up to about $10T. The additional federal revenue from that 1% difference would be about $2T. If the growth averages 4% per year, that's another $10T in GDP and another $2T in revenue.
... the big key is that spending has to grow more slowly than revenue.
when a govt promised tax cuts and increased spending there was only one way to do it.....borrow money. The deficit jumped 17% in 2018. If you want to reduce deficit either raise taxes or cut spending. Just don’t blame pensioners for it. I pay 100% of my contribution
^oh my God, someone who isn't a sycophant replied in this feed. That's refreshing.
What if we taxed less but knew WHERE our taxes went? Specifically. Military, children’s education, police, fire, and infrastructure. Let’s make sure it is being spent right.
Well said.
