I can't even understand how this could be happening. OF COURSE you have to be a citizen to vote. This is lunacy. We immigrated here from Germany and one of our most precious rights and obligations after becoming citizens was to vote. I'm a proud immigrant who is a proud citizen.
Today I offered a motion to recommit #HR1 reaffirming that only US citizens should have the right to vote.
Dems rejected it.
Next time you go to the ballot box, keep that in mind. The future of their party is in cities like San Fran, where illegals can vote. Let that sink in.

They can vote in local elections in some municipalities. That’s what this law was supposed to eliminate.

The only place non citizens can vote is SF for SCHOOL BOARD elections. Dan's motion would do NOTHING to prevent that. It was worthless political grandstanding. If he cares so much then he should do something. He's just grandstanding for attention & for ammo against Dems.
