Tax cuts and deregulation do have benefits....especially if you are over taxed and over-regulated. I would argue you can make a case for the latter....but its hard to say you're over taxed when the government is piling up red ink literally faster than ever.

Unless the red ink is caused by government over spending. When government makes better choices on how they spend my money they can have more of it.
