How many are not detected at these scarcely defended locations and then travel throughout our Country unimpeded?

Last night, about 170. Border agents could see them via camera and sensor but couldn’t get to them in time.

But then there's this bust at a port of entry Congressman Crenshaw. Border security is not, as you know, a walls/no walls binary issue.https://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/427893-border-officers-make-largest-fentanyl-seizure-ever-in-arizona …

Did the wall arrest them? If the wall worked, wouldn’t there be more apprehensions where no wall existed? Why would you need border agents where wall exists if the wall stops them from coming in?
-
Yes Jordan, that’s exactly what these stats are telling us. All of the arrests in this sector, 94%, occur where there is no wall. The wall in the eastern side (same terrain) results in dramatically less crossings.

So what your saying is that when someone comes upon a wall they look for any area with no wall? And where no wall is found, they can continue on unabated to possibly somewhere that is illegal for them to be? Interesting

More agents around McAllen because there isn't a wall there! If there was one in that area, then would need fewer agents.

Dan, I like your style, so here's my question, rather than trying to use tax money to pay for the wall, why not simply let the Ranchers build their own walls and give the property tax breaks for doing so? No need for a Dem deal.

Because it isn’t their responsibility to protect our borders. They are citizens and the US should protect them.
