This morning I joined to discuss the President temporarily reopening the government and our border security plan. The government is now open. No more excuses from Democrats. Let’s hear why they won’t support holistic border security, I’m all ears.

Danny, Danny, Danny. The government is open for three weeks. Are you saying you would be happy with three weeks of wall building? Fund the government for the fiscal year. Negotiate on useful border security measures based on facts, not rhetoric.

Holistic? You either have 3 weeks to come up with solutions. Or 3 weeks to try to frame the next shutdown on the Dems. How about a reality based approach on the problem. One based on what the MAJORITY of the country wants.

The president needs to communicate a plan like this, rather than focusing so much on the barrier. If he does I hope dems go along with this type of plan. A lot of their base doesnt seem like its be on board.
