Easily. Trump flipped after saying he’d sign a CR in December. He shut down the government and the Dems have made it clear they will talk once the government opens. It’s pretty simple, the GOP could have gotten a wall before the midterms and blew it.

Dan, I love you man. But you have to listen. The majority of the country wants the shutdown ended before any further negotiation takes place on "the wall". We want border security, not a vanity project. Listen to your brother, Bill Hurd. Common sense.
