Take the money out of foreign aid, spend that money in our country
I joined @GovAbbott, @SenTedCruz, @JohnCornyn and fellow Texans in the House in asking President Trump to protect Harvey relief funding. We must secure our border, but it cannot be at the expense of relief funds.

My question is what do the relief funds do? They should not be for rebuilding someones home or business as that is an individual responsibility, along with voluntary help from others. I mean, Harvey went through a while back so what are the funds still...funding?

Roads, bridges, dams, government buildings, parks, infrastructure projects.

Spending on gulf coast infrastructure to defend and protect against future hurricane damage would benefit Texans exponentially more than a wall. Why keep pretending a wall equals border security. Elected Texans should lead, not follow, carpetbaggers on border issues.
