Perhaps the President and his team could draft proposals that can pass both chambers. Once that's done, all we need to do is vote.

There was already a bipartisan bill that passed 100-0. Trump vetoed it. McConnell won't let any bill come to the floor for a vote.

So it’s the Democrats fault for voting on and passing multiple bills to reopen the government but McConnell won’t put them on the floor for a vote. His fellow senators have come forward to say there are enough to overcome a presidential veto in the Senate. You’re obtuse or lying.

McConnell did the same thing with a Republican House because there wasn't enough votes to pass in the Senate. I don't think theres a enough votes for it to become veto proof. That's what 66 votes in the Senate?
