Dude, it’s not an emergency.. reopen government and then work on comprehensive immigration, using a shutdown as a tool to negotiate is not a great idea!
Great meeting with President's Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney, where he assured Texans that he understood the deep concerns about using Harvey relief funds for the border. Best solution is still reopening government with adequate funding for border.

The best solution is not to build a multi-billion dollar wall which is susceptible to $100 chainsaws and $500 trebuchets which can launch drugs over the wall at will.

Yep, agree, would be best if nancy, chuck and all would let it happen. But since they won't, the man voted as president of our country by the American people needs to somehow get what he said he'd do done for us. With our divided nation it unfortunately may take alternative means

I agree I hope he does declare an emergency. That way when there is a Democratic President he can call a national emergency for gun control and climate change. Those are actual emergencies that are killing thousands. Be careful what you ask for.
