I am deeply shaken and devastated that a life was lost and others seriously injured at tonight’s Stonewall #Pride Parade. My staff, volunteers and I are thankfully safe.
Conversation
I want to thank our first responders for their heroic efforts as both police and emergency medical personnel stepped into action quickly.

We’re praying for the victims and their loved ones as law enforcement investigates, and I am providing them with whatever assistance I can. I am so heartbroken by what took place at this celebration. May the memory of the life lost be for a blessing.

Congresswoman please do not let those lost, die in vain. This is not an isolated incident. Please do not settle with the typically establishment response.
Our bodies and lives are not safe during our month of celebration. Please. Honor them with action.

It is a tragedy, and I wish the family and friends of victims peace once the grief subsides.
I am also quite concerned you were almost hurt, but at this pt we are hearing 2 diff stories about intent, so my concerns may be unnecessary. Hopefully a tragic accident & nothing else.

is reporting this, saying that you were "narrowly missed". Can you comment on if or when you stated such a thing, or are they misinformed?

How are you today? Many hot takes last night. Beyond sad that a life was run down when that person came to celebrate #Pride.

Why wait for facts when you can jump to conclusions and get some divisive political spin on it right?

Does this now mean with Death Santis' new law that it was legal for the truck to run them over? Or is it only peaceful protesters?
