It is crucial that childcare facilities are able to safely operate, especially for our essential workers who cannot stay home. The House just passed bipartisan legislation to ensure Lowcountry childcare providers have the resources and know-how to safely keep their doors open.

Our SC governor should have tackled child care initiatives instead of pushing to send public school children & teachers back to face to face instruction while private schools hold virtual classes.

I've worked in childcare, there's no difference between packing a daycare & sending ur kids to school. Doesn't make any sense. The centers aren't set up for distancing, teachers aren't trained properly & most owners cut corners for more $ in their pockets. Infections r in centers
