Hmm, well he is helping Nunes and Goodlatte demand the Comey memos, knowing Rosenstein won't/shouldn't give away Mueller's evidence and thus aiding Trump in reason to fire him, so I would call it conflicted at best.

Correction, now that he isn’t up for re-election he is courageous. Let’s see if Ryan suddenly finds his manhood as well.

Gowdy is smart enough not to tie himself to a criminal. I think
@SpeakerRyan is the same. They need to do more if they have any hope of actually salvaging their reputations in the wake of the coming shipwreck. If they make the Ds do all the heavy lifting, risk of unrest is realThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Trey Gowdy: “As for Rod Rosenstein, I don’t see a basis for firing him.” About the plan pitched by Steve Bannon to discredit Mueller: “I don’t know who in the hell would take advice from Steve Bannon.” But why is Gowdy working with Nunes and Goodlatte to demand Comey’s memos?

Seems that's the only way Republicans can speak up is when they're on their way out. So much courage said no one ever.
