I saw him on Steel Pier in Atlantic City when I was a kid. Thought he was so cool! My mom thought he was silly. Good times

Same year yours truly broke in too. I had the privilege of being on stage during a gig he played in San Francisco about 12 years ago. On his decent he put his hand of my head, leaned over and said “hello little darling “. So sincere. RIP
