If a person no longer works for our government, they no longer need security clearance. Common Sense.

Actually they do need security clearance so they can give their input when needed. So that if & when there’s a national security urgency they can be briefed & help. Revoking the security clearances only hurts us.

If his input is ever needed again, which is highly doubtful, his clearance can be re-issued. Once again, the sky still isn’t falling.

I certainly would value the input of a man who served under 3 Presidents and helped bring down BinLaden. But I love my country and I’m not a bot or troll...pic.twitter.com/5yNZ9Smi7U

Obviously not a troll or bot. And you make a very valid point, without calling anybody names. Perhaps compromise on the level of clearance, or on an "as needed basis". All of our info is so centralized in computers now, lobbyists, retirees don't need that access
-
No I don’t think you are the troll or bot but there is at least one in this thread. Lobbyists should never have security clearance. Jared Kushner has an incomplete form with >100 corrections and should not have security clearance yet he does.
-
Brennan, however, has served across multiple Administations and has worked to protect America. demonstrably. He is not losing clearance due to retirement but rather due to retaliation.

So basically we can believe the career intelligence officer or the reality TV star about a hostile foreign power’s involvement is n our election.

To call that "thinking" might be crediting it with more than it deserves.

What's the most scary is 42%. Where does that come from? I've been thinking it's maybe 20%.
