we must all redouble our commitment to end racism in our country and the world. Skin color and zip codes should never determine whether a person lives or dies in America.
We must overcome the results of slavery:
Guarantee the right to vote
Provide health care for all so our Black brothers and sisters don’t suffer or die from COVID19 more than others.
End police brutality on our streets and in the prisons. #JUNETEENTH
On #Juneteenth allies everywhere are marching and demanding change. Ending racism will take many voices, hard work and organizing. In Chicago we will be in the streets joining rallies, car caravans and online parties.
