I was able to built support and coalitions to pass 2 important amendments in the #INVESTAct to prioritize maintenance over the construction of new capacity projects & increase the minimum insurance required for commercial vehicles to support families recovering from crashes.
The #INVESTAct also prioritizes:

Sustainability

Brokers are taking more than 50% cut right now. Why do always trucking small companies have to get punished in order to make others safe and happy.
They also have to pay for accidents even if it’s not there fault in any way! Because auto can’t cover the cost of equipment, let alone medical.

And yet, Federal Transportation data shows that according to current data, 0.06% of trucking accidents actually exceed the current $750k minimum insurancr reqt. Youre supporting trial lawyers, insurance Co's, & megafleets, & WE KNOW IT...
Thank you Mr Garcia for all of your hard work representing families like mine that are victims of negligent truck drivers. We should not have to pick up the slack for insufficient insurance $$$ to cover costs but we do.

You clearly have ZERO understanding of the industry you seek to regulate. This amendment if passed into law will result in massive increases for everything Americans buy.
Why haven’t they raised car auto Insurence to cover the cost of Truckers equipment? They are responsible for more that half of the accidents out there and yet Auto insurance can’t even cover a 1/4 of their equipment when they are at fault!
