We need to start a conversation about how our cities & our towns might look if we actually INVESTED in our transit systems. We need to reframe our work in @transportdems as a critical component of the fight for social justice & equity for everyone. Black, Brown, Rural, or Urban.
Increased funding specifically for protected bicycle facility projects should also be included as an equity, public health, economic recovery, and sustainability issue.
Please please please make @IDOT_Illinois address the horrible design involving Harlem from Roosevelt south to the i55 as well as on Roosevelt and Cermak traveling through Berwyn and Cicero. These street designs are deadly for families trying to grocery shop
