Municipalities are broke to poor or corrupt administration. Thanks to that and our central government (which is bankrupt due the same reasons) people are struggling. We need to downsize the whole system. It’s impossible to sustain 78 municipalities in 100x35 Island
I am in Ponce, PR. There is so much damage. Businesses, churches & homes are destroyed. Those still standing have huge cracks & are structurally unsound. There's real fear that another quake could topple the damaged buildings. Families are living in temporary shelters.pic.twitter.com/jE4AP6v50b
