Truly affordable is key. I'm having to move further away from where I work so that I can afford an actual apartment. $980 for 139 sqft "apartment" is not affordable. Rent Control would also help affordability.
That's 7.05 dollars per square foot! 4.65 can get you a new 1Br/1.5Ba 854 SqFt apartment in the center of Boston's high-tech neighborhood, blocks away from Microsoft, Facebook, Google, and Amazon. Yours shouldn't meet the definition of "apartment". It does meet "highway robbery".

Thank you! Please keep in mind the big difference between buses and subways. Bus routes can be moved quickly. We should focus on them to ensure existing dense populations are properly served. And can we please use highway funds to cover their externalities on cities?
