The closure of Westlake Hospital harms people in my community who are currently being treated by doctors in that facility and who don’t have other options for their health care. Please find a way to pay hospitals appropriate rates to care for patients on Medicaid. Hospitals such as Westlake are losing money every day that they are open because Medicaid reimbursement does not cover the cost of care.
