Adverse Childhood Experiences, or ACEs, are events which have a heavy impact on the future wellbeing, success, or risk of violence of children. This bill would create ACE Response Teams (ACERTs) to deploy and provide services and care to children after these experiences.

ACERTs allow law enforcement and first responders to connect with local child specialists and professionals to intervene and mitigate the impacts of childhood trauma as soon as the scene is clear to begin making a difference.

Over the last two months, I have met with ACERT programs in Manchester and Laconia to discuss the impact on those communities.
