OAWP is failing to fulfill its critical mission by not effectively shielding whistleblowers from retaliation, holding high ranking VA officials accountable or implementing the necessary policies to conduct thorough, sound, and accurate investigations.
Our Committee will be holding a hearing with the VA next week to address these deeply troubling concerns and to discuss how the VA can better protect whistleblowers and, ultimately, improve care and services for our veterans.
Better? When no protection at all is the case, "better" doesn't really cut it, does it?
Not impressed with your hearings, especially when @RepKathleenRice was made aware that a person that retaliated against a WB was selected for the Directors position at a VA that she oversees. Hopefully, that both parties will work to fix the issue. @VAChair @realDonaldTrump
