I'm committed to taking action and am proud to co-sponsor legislation that would address this issue including raising the age to buy tobacco to 21, prohibiting the online sale of nicotine/tobacco products, close advertising loopholes, and prohibit many flavored tobacco products.
#Newmarket raised the minimum age to buy tobacco products to 21 earlier this year. It’s a great start, but only does do much good when kids can drive a mile or two up the road to buy these products.
Prohibiting flavored e-cigarettes will only destroy a 10 billion dollar industry and hurt many small companies in NH and in the US. I'm on board with raising the minimum age and closing advertising loopholes. I'm NOT okay with the ban of flavored e-cigarettes.
