Today would have been pay day for hundreds of thousands of federal workers. Instead they're rushing to file for unemployment benefits or taking out loans to pay the bills. The government should have to pay the interest and penalties on loans or late charges!

It does pay interest. Treasury bonds are at around 3%, the government is never late on paying that's why it has a Triple A rating
