How about how many patients with already existing mental health problems or other chronic medical problems are not able to receive the care they need? I’m a nurse that thankfully works at home, triaging patients all over the United States. I can tell you, it’s a large number.
Primary care doctors and specialists are closing or only accepting a limited number of patients. People who need to go to the ER are too scared to go. Chest pain? They’d rather stay home out of fear then seek much needed treatment. There’s so many unnoticed concerns.

True story here. I passed by the ABC in my community last weekend. The line to get in the store was outside. Not due to social distancing, just due to people wanting booze. Never seen more than 10 or 15 people at a time in that store.
