How can they say social distancing has caused # to go down when they can’t figure out how it spreads?

We need cheap testing, period. So on brand for @RepChipRoy chase fake problems and deflect real problems because real problems demand real solutions, which demand real work. The proof will be in the pudding, check the models for economic growth at the expense of Texans lives.

Can we get a model on how many Texans will die as a direct consequence of in person voting vs mail in voting? Can we get a model on how many will go bankrupt due to testing and medical cost, because we send them back to work without a plan? We need cheap test, not models.

Models are based on data. The GOP under Trumps leadership failed to provide test kits for all Americans. Provides more accurate modeling.

These projections only look into August. They assume we stay in quarantine and are not forced back into our virus infected workplaces as Trump wants. Its been stated that there will be a second wave of the virus when the next Fall season approaches; where's that in this model?

Yeah, I’m sure a bunch of attorneys and lifelong politicians are who need data modeling.

The IHME "model" is not really a mdl in the usual sense, which they crudely explain in their FAQs.  They use histories (curves) from places that are ahead of us timewise.  They match data for us (USA, states, etc) to what others have experienced (as reflected by their curves).

Depends @RepChipRoy, if your stated goal is to have the outcome be smaller govt and more a personal bootstraps approach, the modeling could show that. Be explicit, we need to know if we’re collectively counting on you, or collectively on our own.
