Those on the Budget and Appropriations committees should have a constant reminder of the fiscal state of our nation. If they have to look our growing debt in the eye, maybe they won't continue spending our nation into oblivion.

Unless you are willing to have our defense spending only be equivalent to 6 other countries, (let’s say we cut the entire budget of Germany from our defense budget) then do not act like you are serious about getting spending under control.
