At one time, cartels asked public/ law enforcement officials "Gold or Lead. " Now they are big enough that they only offer lead. Do or die. That the new president is still alive means he is not a threat to the cartels. He will never allow any action by the US inside Mexico.

Ive wondered about this for several years. I suppose, the Mexican government has not invited us in or asked for help. But it is a shame , that our neighbors have to put up with these cartels.

Trouble here is the Mexican gov and cartels don't really see a gain in dominating the other. Cartels have no interest in governing the country nor does the gov see purpose to regulate the cartels. They're in a harrowing stalemate.

The cartels control Mexico. Mexico is a corrupt Narco state. Every American company ding business in Mexico has to pay thre cartels for safe passage of their cargo back to the US.
