Why don't we talk more about Mexican drug cartels?
These dangerous groups terrorize through fear, intimidation, violence, and murder to control the government and bend society to their will.

BP agents have shown me videos of cartels beating migrants. They are beating them to within an inch of their lives. They then send the videos to the migrant's family. Why? Extortion. We've seen estimates that cartels and traffickers are making $2 bill running human beings.

I've stood with two teenagers feet from the Rio Grande as they told me they had to sleep in a park in Reynosa (Mexico) while they worked to pay off their fee to the cartels. They also told me they had heard of women who were abused on the journey.
