It‘s absurd that the most prosperous nation on the planet even considers donations from the public while the camps’ owners are making big money and millionaires and corporations just received huge tax cuts. Y’all do your job and pay to treat these humans humanely & with dignity!
ICYMI: I was proud to author a bill last week that would allow donations of diapers + other goods to @CBP. Americans are the most generous people on earth. Congress shouldn't get in their way.

@RepChipRoy to solve these problems and provide whatever is needed at these facilities. Over $700 per immigrant. Why are we depending on taxpayers for donations now? These facilities are for profit.
