it would be great to be in control of your healthcare options, but, if you are lucky to have employer based insurance then the employer chooses the insurance who then tells you which doctor you go to
i wonder how much would be a good amount to as to a healthcare savings account each month?
I'd contribute as much to a Healthcare saving account as possible since the money never expires, grows tax free, and is tax free for medical needs... Hopefully I'll have some to offset med costs during retirement!

So this is a list of features, but not implementation/costs/what happens to private insurers/CMS/VA? Do you have more detailed info?
To rely on employers to provide health insurance doesn't work because most employers do not offer that option. Texas has always had a low unemployment rate compare to the rest of the states but the highest uninsured rate.
