Our children are counting on us to put out the planet fire and end bankrupties related to medical bills. It's NOT time for Washington to budget like the American family, b/c the two are incomparable. There is no debt owed in US$ that the federal govt can be forced to default on.

I live in his district and I repeatedly try to tell him this. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and choose to believe he genuinely does not understand how a currency issuer is fundamentally different from the currency users.

Yes, but who would vote themselves to be term limited? They all talk a big game, but they would never do it.
