Today, @HouseDemocrats are holding their first hearing on #MedicareForAll. This proposal:
-costs taxpayers $32 trillion over only 10 years
-would kick 150+ million Americans off their private health insurance
-raises taxes, decreases choice, + would lead to increased wait times

Yes, but corporations and their employees (through co-pays/deductibles) are already paying half of that cost. The money is already being spent. This is about finally getting control of costs. Whether we like it or not, healthcare is not a normal service subject to mkt forces.

Insurance was once a choice..some bought full coverage, some bought catastrophic, some didn't buy. But big gov would tax EVERY income, control every procedure, medicine & price. Are we okay to them every paycheck, drive long miles, AND wait in line?!
