I’m so eager for you to tweet about something that is actually happening in our district. Opening a district office in Austin would be lovely too, please and thank you.
Now that federal workers are being paid, @speakerpelosi has the opportunity to negotiate with @HouseGOP in good faith. I am highly skeptical that Democrats are interested in securing our border and keeping the government open. The time is now. No more excuses.

Umm you voted to not reopen the government and against back pay. I am highly skeptical you will negotiate. Your constituent's will not forget! Secure ports of entry not a wall!

Why reward Congress for not doing its job of passing all the departments/agencies appropriation and authorization bills before 9/30. Why make sure federal workers don’t care if government shuts down because they’ll get paid. End the 60 vote filibuster THREAT rule.
