G what if I’m not sure about my sex and what if I am Black but was brought up as American. I’m confused. Is American even an ethnicity. It would take a day of training just to fill it out.

Well, intersex/other could be listed on the form. If you are Black and American, that would make you African-American, unless you are implying Black people aren't American.
