I was incredibly humbled by the opportunity to participate in this year’s march across the bridge and to visit the monuments that illustrate the horrors of slavery and the Jim Crow era in this country. No human should ever be subjected to that treatment.
In Congress, I will never stop fighting for equality, justice, and equal opportunities for all Americans, regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation.
