Far too many Veterans from the Vietnam era came home and were never properly thanked for their sacrifice & service to our country. The Vietnam War 50th Commemoration was established by the 2008 National Defense Authorization Act. It recognizes Veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time during the period of November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975, regardless of location of service.
